Ballads that bounce. Singer/songwriter Mark Wilson Jordan
gives voice to an array of original songs in styles including pop, R&B, easy listening, Top 40, blues and jazz. Love, relationships and the potential of the human condition are the subjects that get attention in these melodic and intimate songs.
Mature and sophisticated, Mark nurtured his love for singing by performing with a capella groups in and after college. He became a songwriter to develop his craft as a storyteller and interpreter of lyrics, melodies and emotions. Favorite singers include Luther Vandross, Johnny Mathis, Peabo Bryson, Al Jarreau, Aretha Franklin, Sarah Vaughn, Ella Fitzgerald and Joni Mitchell. He lives, performs and keeps an eye on the indie music scene in the Los Angeles area. See videos of live performances of 'Beg, Barter or Bribe' and 'Dream About You' on YouTube.
